Currently, we have the following opportunity available:
Developmental Faculty Members at the University of British Columbia in beautiful Vancouver, Canada are accepting proposals from outstanding candidates for a new Post-doctoral Opportunity offered through the Canadian federal government. Applicants can be either Canadian or Foreign citizens and successful recipients receive 2 years of support at 70K ($Cdn) per year. We anticipate a high degree of interest in this new award but we will only be able to sponsor a few of the strongest applicants. To have your application considered for sponsorship, send a copy of your CV and a brief description of the research questions that interest you via email to the individual faculty member(s) you are interested in working with, preferably by Sept. 8, 2010. Applicants who are selected for sponsorship will be notified promptly and will then need to complete the full application for the internal UBC deadline of Sept. 24, 2010.
